Welcome to the "Multiculturalism and Storytelling" blog. This blog is designed to be a resource for the teachers who have participated in the course, as well as teachers interested in discussing the rewards, challenges, strategies, and any other details/issues/concerns related to teaching multicultural content in the classroom. The intention of this blog is to serve as an entry into these conversations.
This blog will be supported by the Center for Documentary Arts, but comments will not be moderated. From time to time the CDA will also send information about multicultural education and multiculturalism in Utah. This site will also be used to post relevant information to teachers.
We hope this site and blog can be a very useful resource. Please also use this as a space to suggest what we can do to help/support you further in your pursuits to bring multicultural education into your Utah classrooms.
